Sorry if that isn't the right place to post something like this.
But this is something I've been struggling for months now.

I think I lost my iPhone 4S.

It only turns on the display when I plug in on my Mac.
It is recognized as a iPhone 4S on iTunes correctly. Although it gives me the following image:

I, then, press OK and do a Option+Click on the "Restore iPhone..." button. Choose the ipsw (ios 8 GM currently) and it starts to "Extracting software..."

After extracting it, iTunes shots "Preparing iPhone for restore..." and then "Waiting for the phone". And then the phone resets before the installation completes and then I get this message on iTunes:

What I have tried was:
* I'm using an original apple cable.
* Already switched to another usb port.
It all didn't work.

What do I do? Did I lost my iPhone?
