Hello all,

I received an iPhone 4s for Christmas. Within a few minutes of use i noticed there were a couple of yellow patches near the bottom of the screen. I googled it and found that the tend to disappear over time. I am now into my second week of using the phone, and I can still see a faint yellow dot in the lower left hand corner of the screen.

Do I need to give it more time, or should I take it into Apple?

Use the link to see the type of yellow dot I am talking about

Thanks for any input

Yup give it a while longer. My wife had this when she got her iPhone 4 shortly after that model came out. Hers lasted for at least two or three weeks before the yellow 'stain' (as she called it) disappeared.

RTP.

Ahh great. I was worried that it was still here after a couple of days. I will give it a couple of weeks before getting in touch with Apple.

Thanks for the reply

The yellow dots are still there. I have noticed they only appear when the phone gets warm
