I want to install iOS 8.0 on my iPhone 4S. It says on my computer that it will take 28 hours to install. Is that possible?

The time required to install is a function of your internet connection and the processor speed of the phone. The download is about 1GB. It took me about 1 1/2 hours to download the update and another hour to do the update on an iPhone 5.
