Hy, I have bought an iPhone 5 from ebay, it's locked on uk 3 and I wanted to use it with gevey, but I have a problem at activating it because it requires the icloud account of the previous owner and I cannot get past that screen, the phone it's not stoled I've verified it, and the person from wich I've bought it doesn't respond anymore. Can someone tell me a solution?I've restored it a lot, also on iOS 7 but no luck

In iOS 7, it would seem it has the new anti-theft feature activated, where you can't get into the phone and use it, without being able to log into the iCloud account of the person that it's registered to, restoring doesn't change that.

It was a new feature that Apple announced.

No way to get around that, with iOS 7 in it.

A restore to do it would only help in other versions of iOS.

Well , I have iOS 7 beta 6, can I restore back to iOS 6?and by that will I be able to activate it?thanks

I understand what you said perfectly, if I downgrade to iOS 6 I will stay on iOS 6, I won't update again on iOS7, am I clear?
