Hello, Just some questions Any you guys done iphone 5 Advance Replacement service in the uk.
How long does it take to recieve the new phone?
Do you recieve a brand new retail unit?
How do i ship the unit back to apple before they charge my credit card.

I am not in the UK, but the US. I did the advanced replacement last month so I should be able to answer it, as I believe itd be the same for UK and US.

It took me 5 days to receive the phone, because of hurricane sandy, however they usually overnight/2day it.

It could be new, but there is no way of telling as the Iphones apple refurbishes are the best in the biz.

They have to put the full amount of the phone on your CC as a hold. If you send the phone back within 10 days that you receive the phone, they will lift it. If you keep both phones 10 days after you receive it, then they will charge you the full amount for it.



Not stupid questions - I was very worried bout doing it myself, but I am glad I did. Got a very nice rep who helped me out.
