Hi Guys,

I've posted this in the main iPhone forum section too but as this concept video features several ideas relating to iOS I thought I'd post it here too.

As the video demonstrates, 'Mission Control' is borrowed from the mac but enhanced to feature much requested access to system settings, such as brightness, location services and wifi controls. This feature would replace the current 'Multi-tasking Tray' as found in iOS 5.

Looking forward to hearing your feedback!

Congratz for the vid :) It's really nice!

Hope you're right: Mission Control feature in iOS6 (if non-exclusive to iphone5) would be something nice =)

I still don't get why people think that the home button would have a thumbprint reader in it. The industry disrupting technology the company Apple is try to buy is for fingerprint readers built into the touch screen.

However I REALLY REALLY like the "Mission Control" concept.

That's the coolest video I've ever seen! This is kinda like Apple, some of the video and music is kinda match, love that :D

Fingerprint on the touchscreen itself would rock harder.

I like multitasking now with single hand. Your solution requires two hands, one to hold, one to two finger swipe.

Really nice.
One criticism though is the animation of the battery charging.
Showing it fill that fast seems very un-Apple and borders on false advertising.

On reflection, I agree actually and it would definitely be classed as false advertising! I wanted to show some animation to the battery charge and tried various speed animations but they were all too slow and subtle. I think a better idea may have been to speed up the accompanying clock display (have it fast forward a few hours) in line with the battery charge. Thanks for your feedback!

I loved the subtle active clock icon on the home screen.

COME ON APPLE. IT'S BEEN 5 YEARS. LET'S DO THIS.

While I'm not crazy about the fingerprint thing, I think the rest of that is pretty awesome. The mission control thing would be such a neat idea. :) excellent work

Swiping up from the bottom makes lots of sense at this point, seeing as that area is covered by the dock somewhat and has no existing gestures attached to it.
