iPhone 5 and iPad 2 issue with calling

Whenever I get a call into my iPhone 5, it also rings into my iPad 2.

I answer the call fine on my phone, however, the call coming in screen on my iPad 2 freezes and I can't do anything. Only solution is to power it off and on. Home button doesn't work and either does the screen saver button on the top right.

This started happening with IOS8.

Any ideas what I can do? Is it because of the new Family Share option?

EDIT: Actually, if I use the on/off button, but hit cancel instead of powering it off, it will go back to where it was when it was being used. Weird

Really strange. I have the same setup (iPad 2 and iPhone 5) and before downgrading my iPad 2 to 7.1.2 I had call forwarding working fine :/
