Ok, its 04/09.... and I have not heard nor seen ANY information from Apple, re:New iPhone. Everyone, including myself, is under the impression that Apple, is going to launch a New iPhone. this is Now more than ever, Speculation. For my part and I'm from "Down Under' ( Australia). NO news has filtered through, Official Channel's.

Having bought Every Incarnation of iPhone, and being a Hopeless FanBoy of APPL,( typing on my 2012 MBA ) Bought first IMac available in Aus...... 2007

Even "I" have been seduced, by Nokia Lumia 900. (OMG, Windows 8 )
I have been an Apple devote for a third of my life. Ive read Everything!! APPLE....!!

As much as i like Tim Cook, Without SJ and his "Ways" apple has a very "FINITE" future.

iphone 5? or whatever, for the first time in 11 yrs?.. im looking else ware.....:confused::confused::confused:
 
Am i alone that i don't actually understand OP's point??? Kind of all over the place there!
 
Damn, not trying to be mean, but your post was barely readable. It's barely the 4th so even if invitations were released today, it wouldn't have happened just yet. I say the 5th or 6th at the latest. They usually come up a week before the event, so don't go snorting all your blow just yet. And please next time, try searching first. Hell, I'm sure you don't even have to do that since there's probably threads like this on the first or second page of the New Posts and I can almost guarantee there's one like it on the first pages of the iOS 6 and iPhone sections.

Be cool... it may be evening on the 4th for you, and mid-morning on the 4th for us in the UK, but in West Coast USA, they're still in dreamtime.........

Yep there are a lot of choices out there. You shouldn't limit yourself. The iPhone four was my last iPhone. I now prefer android for phones and ios for tablets.
 
buddy there are a lot of us who are in the same boat, wait till tomorrow and you will have a clear picture.

All these hand-wringing announcement/release threads remind me of this quote.

As if he is expecting a personal invitation to the event or something.

The sun isn't even quite up yet where I am and "Apple Time" is a few hours behind me.
 
Announcement could very well be today. Apple announced their iPad 3 event 8 days before on a Tuesday for the event the next Wednesday.

I also don't think Apple would want to interfere with the Nokia event tomorrow (Wednesday).

that would be the perfect time to announce it because the event is tomorrow. steal some thunder away from the event.
 
i'm 99,9% sure they are going to send out the invitations today or tomorrow.
they pulled the opening of a german apple store 48 hours ahead. it was planned to open on the 22nd and now they are going to open on the 20th. i guess that is a pretty clear sign :D

So if my math is right, you are 15 and are asking us, when the new iPhone will be released so you can spend another 600 of daddies bucks on it?

This makes me think of those pictures where the kid gets an iPhone 3GS and starts crying and throwing a fit because he actually wanted an iPhone 4S. :rolleyes:

I know grammar isn't everyone's concern on an internet forum, but this is just outrageous.
 
it's official invites are here 12. september and the shadow of the invite clearly shows a 5. looks like we are going to get the iphone 5
