iPhone 5 Applecare+ Eligibility

So I got my iPhone 5 today (ordered from Verizon's site) and I was wondering if, like the 4S, you can buy Applecare+ up to 30 days after you've received the device. I ask because I heard there were some small policy changes to Applecare+ and I haven't heard anything on the subject. Last year I got Applecare+ like 27 days after I got my 4S and it was pretty sweet. Anyone know this info?

Yes you can just call Apple its easier to add it on over phone
