Tried to search last years posts on the 4s launch but didn't find much. Any speculation on availability through the weekend. Can't make it to the apple store till Saturday. Hoping to go in saturday morning and pick up a white 64gb. Anyone remember store availability for last years 4s launch.

Hey, I don't know about the Apple store but I spoke with some wireless employees and they said that the first day they didn't have any but then the next day they had plenty. So who knows if it is going to be the same. As always, your best bets are going to less populated area stores. I also know some of the wireless stores may allow you to put your name on a waiting list- whether you need to or not but this would secure you one.
Who knows. Last year, Apple got 2 shipments of 4S's in the store, and that evening they had plenty left. I don't know about this year. If I manage to sell mine for $450, I will need to find one soon because I'll be stuck using a RAZR phone until I can get one.
