I have been having the worse battery life with my iPhone 5 which I've had since release day. I went into the Apple Store today and they did a diagnose and info showed up on the macbook air stated the batteries was dead and was only at 40%.
I use the iPhone a lot but have never had a problem with they past 3 iPhones I've owned The sales person offered to replace the battery for $79.

Has anyone had a battery replace before? Do you think its worth it?

Sounds like you have a bad battery/bad phone to begin with but you let go as being normal - not.

As far as worth it, depends what your other options are: It still subsidized then I'd probly have them sell me an upgrade. If unsubsidized then see how much u can sell it and cost of replacement. If you are attached to this particular phone and can't spend more than $100 and are willing to take the risk, new battery. There is always the DIY route if your not afraid of tinny screws.
