I know there are countless battery life posts on these forums but I haven't seen one that answers this question specifically.

My question is how much battery life do you lose when your iPhone 5 is in standby? Without using it at all.

I lost about 10% overnight and I was wondering if this is an average amount.

Sounds about right. To minimise battery drop make sure you turn off wifi when you are not using it and turn off Facebook notifications - they use sooooo much battery on their own and are kinda pointless when they don't make any noise anyway.

WiFi is generally off anyway when the phone is asleep (the screen is off), and as for notifications (Facebook or otherwise), it can be useful to use Do Not Disturb, especially at night time, as that won't light up the screen, or make any sounds/vibrations, at all.
