iPhone 5 battery life. It cannot be normal

Hello, I ve got iPhone 5, white, 32GB, since last friday.

And I am experiencing quite an issues, because, for example today, I am using my phone for an hour. Just sent few iMessages to my girlfriend and check for Dragonvale for about two mins and battery life is from 50% down to 25%. My brightness is on almost the lowest position. It can not be ok.

Not to mention I have got the light leak near the power button.

Any ideas? There is no Apple Store in our country, no genius bar etc.

It sounds to me like you have a faulty battery. Is this a consistent, or occasional issue? Have you considered a battery replacement?

Sometimes I have this issue and after a restart it works again Try it and let us know.

Actually I tried to calibrate the battery, and it worked.

It was so strange, because my battery life was draining so fast, but when it reached 1% I could play youtube videos for 1 hour

Now after 0%-100% complete cycle recharge, it works just fine.

I am just a bit dissapointed with the light leak, but no big deal
