iPhone 5 Battery Never Says Fully Charged

It will charge up to 100%, but the charge symbol will remain there...I don't think I've ever seen it with the "plug" (fully-charged) symbol....


Any fix to this or anyone has a similar experience?

hard reset (hold home button and sleep/wake till it reboots)
or
drain till it turns off and recharge full (do not take it off of the charger until it's there)
or
Do a factory reset.

Once those 3 things are done, if it still happens, take it in.

On mine I have to wait a few minutes after it hits 100% to see the "fully charged" symbol.

mine hit 100% but think it did it too soon. got it yesterday half charged and by the time i was done configuring it it was at 100%

Tried the reset. Next resort is a full drain and recharge.

I have read literally dozens of others stating the same, and even worse, issue with the battery read on the Apple forums...it's definitely a new issue.
