iPhone 5 Benchmarked - WOW! The A6 is FAST!

Its too bad these forums declared that any bragging about specs and numbers is "lame" because there definitely is a lot to brag about with the A6!

9to5: First iPhone 5 Geekbench results: Dual Core A6 more than doubles iPad 3 score, narrowly beats high end Androids

No iOS device has ever crossed 800 before so the 1601 score is a significant leap. Even the 2004′s most powerful Apple computer, the Power Mac G5 only scored 1571. Think about that.

For reference, the quad core Tegra 3-powered Nexus 7 scored a 1591 and the quad-core Samsung Galaxy S III scored 1560 in the test narrowly missing the new standard for mobile devices. (Note Galaxy S3s running Jelly Bean still outperforms the iPhone 5)
