Hey,

I was facing an issue earlier where I was texting and when I was done my text, I just locked my phone. Moments later, I decided to check my phone again to see if I received a text. When I did this, I realized my iPhone had a black screen (nothing on it). My power button and home button were not responding whatsoever. I figured out how to solve this (a reset did the trick). However, I am wondering why it occurs. Does anyone know why this happens?

Note: I am running iOS 6.01 with Evasi0n's Jailbreak. The last app I installed was something from the Apple App Store (it is a game).

Its might have something to do with a tweak you installed. It might have caused a SpringBoard crash. I don't know very much about jailbreaking and tweaks, maybe someone else can chime in.

jailbreak

is mostly suspect. maybe not the hack exclusively but the last app you updated or installed. Something in interfering within the OS and causing a crash. If it is really important you can review the crash logs and decipher the pinpoint of failure. Jailbreaks offer no warranty of reliability within the realm of operation. CAVEAT EMPTOR:apple:
