So I tried to use my stereo bluetooth (Sony Ericsson MW600) for the first time with my new iPhone 5 today, but my iPhone 5 was just stuck on searching forever. What's up with that? It's also the first time I ever turn on bluetooth on the iPhone 5. I had no problem using the headset with my MBP or my old iPhone 4. Should I be worry or the headset is just not compatible with the 5?

I notice it doesn't refresh quite like it seems it should --- I usually put the device into pairing mode and then put the phone into search mode, otherwise it never pops up, or takes a while. I think the scan refresh is slower.

Try searching having the device you are connecting to search for a blue tooth devices. That is what I have always done with iPhones when connecting to the car stereo and other devices.
