Had my iPhone 5 for a month or two now and have only recently needed to use the bluetooth function. The problem is as soon as I turn the bluetooth on and then exit from the bluetooth menu, the bluetooth symbol in the bar at the top disappears. It will not connect or recognise anything whatsoever. Not even my macbook.

I know this is not an isolated problem as my housemates iPhone 5 has the exact same problem.

Any ideas of how to fix it? Tried a full reset, that did nothing. Will I just have wait for a software upgrade?

I have this same problem. Haven't been able to find a solution yet. When I had my iPhone 4 (running iOS 6), everything was great with bluetooth.

Just tried my iPad (with Retina Display) and the bluetooth works fine.
