My iPhone 5 Flash Light is not working. The light flashes for half a second then goes away after two blinks, resulting all back images. Has anyone else experienced this?

Watch the short video I took from my iPad(sorry for the bad quality):

Have you tried it without the phone case?

Perhaps there is some reflection around the edge of the case near the flash or lens that is affecting the cameras light sensor and causing the images to be underexposed?

I am using a bumper case but even without the case this happens.

Presuming there is no dirt or scratches on the lens, have you tried a hard reset?

You could always take it back for a warranty replacement.

I just turned off and back on and it has solved the issue but this problem seems to be software related since only a reboot solved the problem. I wonder if I should get a replacement.

Your not the only one. I had the same issue. Hard reset worked as well.

Seeing its a software thing. I see no point in changing the phone..
