Just read an interesting article about the comparison of the iPhone 5 camera vs. the 4S. I was personally bummed after the Keynote as it seemed like Apple just put the 4S camera into the 5. However, I missed the part where they said they tweakws the lens (along with improved the low light performance).

There is definitely an improvement. It's not as much as a jump from the 4 to the 4S, but it's still better.

Lowlight shots are awesome in comparison. Other than that, I agree with your assessment in that the difference isn't as large from the 4-4S. I was really hoping for either a 10-12 megapixel. But pixels aren't everything haha
