iPhone 5 can't sync music after restore

I just restored my iPhone 5 because I was having a problem with all the data on the phone saying it was in the "Other" category when I was on the summary tab. So I got the backup and everything synced except my music. Also the problem with all the data being displayed under the "Other" category is still a problem. Any help?
