I've had my iPhone 5 since January and have yet to get a car charger for it. Previously I had an igo charger with the changeable tips that I used for all of my phones. Unfortunately igo won't be making a lightening tip per Apple's new regulations. They have yet to come out with a lightening charger that meets Apple's requirements. I was wondering if anyone had found a charger possibly with a caddy/dashboard holder that isn't one of the cheap Amazon ones. I also can't really pay Belkin or some of the others' prices. It's not a huge deal, but it'd be nice to keep my phone charged on long trips.

What's wrong with a USB cigarette adapter? It plugs into the cigarette lighter and converts it to a USB port. Buy an extra lightning cable (Monoprice and Amazon sell for less than the Apple cable). You're set.

As for a holder of sorts, I put it in my cupholder. If you really require something that sticks to the windshield or dashboard, look on eBay. That's about the best it will be unless you are willing to fork over the cash for more "known" brands like Belkin. I have one that has been in use for almost a year. No problems. It cost me like $2-3 so even if it didn't work or broke, I wouldn't lose too much on it.
