I usually get a case and use it for the first few months because Im scared it will fall and break. After the initial OMG MY IPHONEZ PRECIOUS! stage I take it off and go naked.

Cover. I like to personalize if I can. I may change my mind later but I'm pretty rough on my stuff.

No

No case / "cover", but I always put on screen protectors (and a back protector for iPhone 4/S) so I can put the phone in my pocket with keys or change and the glass doesn't get destroyed.

This strategy has worked great for years (since the 3G). You can't even tell they are on (I go with glossy), and when you sell your phone or give it to someone else, you peel them off and the phone looks like new. :)

I'm going with no protection on the back of the iPhone 5, and I'm curious how the metal and small glass portions on the back will hold up.

I don't know why you would want to put such an expensive beautiful device in an ugly cover.. Just get yourself a nice leather pouch.

after all this time, how's your no cover policy going?
I just received a brand new one and it's so beautiful I never want to look at anything else ever again. And I sure as hell don't want to hide it.

Any regrets on not getting a case? Cause I'd really like to keep mine in the nude as it came

What, no poll? :D

Because I have taste like S Jobs <wink> the iPhones are beautiful as they are designed.

Beauty first: No cover.

Money first, fussy with scratch: Cover.

Although I agree that the iPhone 5 is a beautiful looking phone I prefer to protect it which unfortunately means covering it up. I am currently using the Lifeproof Fre cover in white/grey and I'm very satisfied with it... It's thin, light and protective for those of us that are clumsy or with small children.

naked. i have never dropped or scratched any phone ive had in 10 years except my 3g wich fell in a public bathroom

Otter box defender case on my ip5 since I get paranoid if i see a scratch on my beautiful iDevice.

No cover.

If you're going with a cover, which one will it be?

Get at least a slip cover, the paint will come off on the black one, and the diamond edge cut will get scratched up on the white one, but depends on how anal you are with your phones, I use a Life Proof and love this case.
