That's a nice price.

Low enough to draw in the non-techy consumer who'll be kicking themselves after Apple announces the 5S. :D

Yeah lol. Or the people who just don't care. (Like my mom, cause I sure care);)

Yeah, their phones are just going to stop working on the 10th. Remember folks, a phone can only last 11 months and 29 days.

i should have just waited to get the iPhone 5 shake my head! wouldve save money..

Very funny, why would you want to pay for a phone when a new one comes out in just 2 weeks

The i5 is still a very good phone and for $98 with contract its a great deal.
Its not like usually the "S" upgrade is that big of a difference from the previous model.
If its just a faster processor, better camera and a fingerprint sensor then to me its not worth upgrading if you have an iPhone 5.

It's a good deal but if you wait a couple weeks and pay $100 more your phone will be able to use the latest software an extra year, not to mention all the other upgraded components of the latest iPhone.

Nobody who follows technology would buy this unless they absolutely needed to.

Our own buyer's guide tells us not to buy. Why is that?

----------

I don't know, why would you buy a new phone for full price every year?

If you have the latest iPhone and sell it you'll be able to recoup at least half the price of an unsubsidized iPhone.

So it's really like you're buying a subsidized phone every year except you're not extending your contract.

err umm not really? iphone 5 is a nice high end phone.

maybe you are expecting too much out of the 5S but i dont expect any of us to be blown away and i doubt it will be any better than the 5.

in 4 september 10th when this section is full of complaint threads about the 5S

Maybe you're expecting too little. Just because it looks the same doesn't mean it's the same phone.

Complaint threads mean nothing on here. After a new release of anything the forum is flooded with complaints. The ones with complaints will be more vocal than the ones that are happy.
