Back when the iPhone 4 was released, AT&T bumped those who were eligible for an upgrade anytime in the year 2010 to be able to purchase the i4 at the $199/$299 pricing when it released. Do you think they will do the same for the iPhone 5? I searched the forum first and didn't find much. Quote below is from Macworld article.
Steve Jobs announced AT&Ts incredibly generous upgrade offer during his keynote. In plain English, current AT&T customers eligible for an upgrade sometime in 2010 can buy the iPhone 4 on its June 24 launch day for $199 (16GB) or $299 (32GB)if they agree to sign another two year contract.
