I am looking for iPhone 5 protective film recommendations. Ideally I would like something as clear and perfectly fit/cut as possible for the front, and something with a matte finish for the back. Or even better, a matte finish for the "slate" portion and smooth finished pieces for the top and bottom parts.

I have the front screen protector, and it's the best cut I've seen for the iPhone 5. The back protectors also match your description. The rear camera/mic/LED cutout isn't ideal, but still works.

Have you considered the Zagg Invisible Shield screen protector? I personally haven't used a screen protector for a while because I have my device in a case, but my experience with Zagg was a good one. I highly recommend them.

I don't like the Zagg for the iPhone 5, HORRIBLE cutouts.. that horrible orange peel effect, and it peeled on me 3 times already.
Went to try Spigen since then, love it
