I've been riding out the storm of the antenna problem, and believe it or not, it persists in the Apple store iPhone 4's. Those even have the update.


iPhone 5 will also have an improved everything, like every new iPhone :apple: releases. 5 will probably have a better Retina display.

At least my contract will be fully completed by then.
 
I'm holding out for the iP6. It's going to be a real winner!! I overheard in the men's room in Grand Central Station that it will have a 6 inch 3D display!!.

Only problem is you have to wear those silly glasses. :eek:

my iphone 4 has no antenna issue, i got it 3 weeks ago, its a week 38. also, how would it be possible to have a 'better' retina display?? they said that any more ppi is pointless as the eye wouldn't notice the difference....
 
I heard the iPhone 6 may be even better than the 5, maybe you should wait for that one?
 
I strongly doubt the iPhone 5 will have a better retina display. I bet they will wait until the iPhone 6 to upgrade the screen, at which point they will make the screen OLED, but at the same resolution as the retina display.

I still don't get why people post pointless threads like this one. I mean seriously couldn't you find somebody to tell this to personally. I think threads that are pointless like this one and don't contribute any real information or debates should be deleted.

I use forums to gain information and debate certain topics, I hate having to filter through this bloat.

There are two smartass responses I can think of off the top of my head..

1) Yes - it will have a printer - but the ink cartridges will not be user replaceable.

2) No - it won't have a printer. Steve Jobs believes that the paper medium is dead.
 
I m waiting for the next iphone too. Been waiting since the first one.
Figure I've saved $5,000 in cell phone bills, not to mention another $1,000 in
iphone hardware costs.

I use the money and buy a new computer every
2 years. In my mind, they are free and paid for by not having an iphone.
 
Why don't you just wait for iPhone 5324?
Wait, you won't be alive by then. Sorry.

Sorry Dude you will have to wait until iPhone 9 that's when the new Rocky comes out, also I heard iPhone 6 will have a Tele porter to allow you to travel thru time without a car, also you can have a virtual Girlfriend or Wife, should be interesting.
 
I am too waiting for the iPhone 5 and I don't see what is the problem.
I didn't buy the first iPhone and waited for the 3G version, which I am still using today. It still works fine.
I thought of buying the iPhone 4, but, as Steve Jobs said, it is the biggest leap since the original iPhone. Therefore, it can have a lot more issues than just a new version.
We have heard about the antenna, problems with the screen, they can't even produce the white version properly, yellow tint issue, etc.
So, instead of rushing, I prefer to wait 10 months. I am sure that the next iPhone will just be a better version of the current one, and not a big step forward.
 
My bill is around $220/month, but that's with 3 iPhone 4s on the same account. 2 have unlimited data, 1 has 200MB data. Unlimited family texting, and 1400 minutes/month.
 
I heard in the Oval office Iphone 666 is going to be the HOTTEST one. I would wait for that. It sure to be on fire as it sells.

U guys r too much. Iphone 4 comes out and u guys say i want iphone 5. Give that guy a break
