Iphone 5 front camera flex cable replacement

Hy all, I was replacing my damaged front camera flex cable and I need help.
Replacement part is little different and I don't know what to do.
After reassembly front camera does not work.
I am posting an image of the original and replacement part side by side so you can see the problem for yourselves.
RED CIRCLE - differences, BLUE CIRCLE - damaged part of original
Any help would be greatly appropriated.

The first thing that I notice is that the two different flex cables have different part numbers. I am not sure what part number is the OEM but I would punch that number into google or ebay and find that exact number and purchase the same that came out of the camera. I started repairing iPhones about 6 weeks ago and I have stumbled across issues like these. I first thought that all screens are the same for the the iphone 4 but that is not the case, the same goes for the iPhone 5.
