iPhone 5: getting battery replacement OR getting external battery? Which way?

My battery is bad right now. It got around 5 hours usage (texting, calling, surfing internet), and around 7-9 hours of standby.
If I watch youtube, the battery will decrease >10% for only 5 minutes.

I talked with apple online. They ran the test for me, and it showed my phone needs thr battery replacement.

P.S. I am not planning to sell this phone. I am going to use it until it breaks down.
- I am NOT interested to do the battery replacement by myself.
- i am NOT interested to buy OEM battery online

2 ways:
1. Battery replacement: $79
2. Buying external battery for $30

Which way will last long?
Which way is worth the money?

What is your daily usage(not stand by).
I have a lot and I mean a lot of external batteries. How many times do you want your iPhone to charge to 100%? About 2600mah means about or more than one full 100% charge.

I did not pay for these. I got a sample for review.

I would replace. Its only going to get worse to the point its unusable.

Budget eBay liion packs are going to pose safety hazards.

Reputable packs, aren't inexpensive.
