Just received my iPhone 5,

Opened the box and the iPhone was facing the wrong way with the back showing... took the film protector off and noticed a small dent on the metal casing - am very annoyed.

Apple quality control is not the same as before

Firstly, think of the millions of phones they manufacture. Quality control isn't too easy. Second, there are a couple other threads, included pictures and multiple pages in this regard. :)

Apple quality control is not the same as before

People have been saying this for as long as I've been buying Apple products, which is a very long time.

Translation: I'd never personally received an Apple product with a manufacturing defect, but now I have.

With respect, I've been purchasing Apple products alot longer than you,

Just annoyed as I have to make a trip into an Apple Store especially to get this sorted.

Take your place at the back of the line :p

Haha. Jk. It's been a problem for quite a few people. I called my Apple store and they said I'm not the only one. They're holding me a replacement until I can make it over there this evening.

I just got done saying how it seems like the bezels are very soft compared to the iPhone 4(s).

What do you guys think?

When I run my finger over the dent, I can definitely feel it.

I wonder what Genius Bar stock is like at the moment... wondering if they will be able to issue replacements so soon?

Exactly, booked an appointment on Tuesday to goto my local Apple Store.

I'm sure they will replace it without any issues, just wondering if they have stock to replace it with?

Same problem

I got iphone 5 white, yesterday.

There was a small dent in the middle of back cover.

We need to escalate this manufacure problem.

I am very disappointed iphone 5's quality....:apple::mad:
