Strangest thing in the world. From launch day until today, my iPhone 5 has been working normally. Around 4pm today, the home button started turning the volume down one notch per push. It still does all normal home button functions (multitasking, triple click function, etc) but every time its pushed, its like the volume down button was pushed (the ringer volume meter appears and goes down a bar with every home button push).

It is the strangest thing, I have no idea what to do, about to do a restore.

Anyone else experience this?

EDIT/

I did a complete restore and it is still happening, video below.

Still after a year, my 4S has some strange issues with Siri and volume. Like, if you use siri, suddenly your volume gets really loud, or sometimes when I adjust from portrait to landscape, it shuts the screen off and then when I turn it back on, it acts as if Siri was activated.

Weird stuff....Weird stuff

Take it into Apple....no doubt they'll swap it out. If you proved a clean install doesn't fix it, then it must be a hardware issue.
