I just replaced a battery in my son's iPhone 5 (my old one). It is a flaky battery. The battery I ordered has a different APN than the one that was in it.

The original was 616-0610 the new one is 616-0613.

The new one won't power up at all and if I hook it to a charger it will cycle the Apple logo and then go black endlessly.

I thought I may have damaged an internal component since it was a pain getting out. Glued down pretty good. But took my wife's battery and put it in and it works fine. That one is the same APN 616-0610.

Guess I need to order another one and hope for the same APN. Unfortunately, I tore the ribbon on his original battery and can't put it back.

Is there anything else I can do?
