Interesting... At work, I listen to music via speakers connected to my PC. Years ago, before the iPhone 4, my iPhone would cause interference with my speakers and it would produce noise. I would have the same trouble if I played music from my iPhone in my car or if I connected my iPhone to my portable speakers. I'd have to go to Airplane mode to avoid the interference.
Well, just now I noticed that my iPhone 5 causes the same interference. So now I have to keep my iPhone away from my speakers at work - something I haven't had to do in a long time.
Makes me wonder if this is why Apple didn't release the adapters on day one. Are they delaying the inevitable complaints about interference?
