iPhone 5/iOS 6 notification volume issue

I have noticed that my volume when receiving a call or text is very hard to hear. Even though my volume is turned all the way up. Anybody else notice this or figured out a way to fix this?

Edit: a soft boot seems to have fixed this issue...for now. Well see!

Thank you so much for posting this. A soft boot fixed mine too! I was getting stressed because I was barely able to hear my SMS alert! Thanks again!
