iPhone 5 issues with iOS 8.1

Few niggles with 8.1 on iPhone 5:

Slide to open sometimes doesn't respond.

Battery dies at between 8-15%

Battery will be at 40% then will say it's at 70% following a restart.

Any help would be great. Thanks

Your battery is faulty, go to Apple Store for replacement

Already done that, they said battery is fine.

I get the slide to unlock issue too. I'm sure I had it on iOS 7 also. Very frustrating when it happens!
