Starting around Thursday or Friday, my iPhone 5 has been acting funny when I try to wake it from sleep. Randomly throughout the day, I will press the power or home button and the screen won't power on. I will try pressing either button again and again and the screen won't turn itself one. Then, again randomly, the screen will power up and work just fine; on and off with the power button will sleep and wake the phone without issue.
I'm guessing this is a software issue, but has anyone else experienced this recently? I haven't tried restoring the phone, but that's my next step. I'm running 6.1.3.
