Based on how fast this was, I'm going to assume it was an exploit in iOS 6. If that's the case, every iOS 6 device would be jailbreakable with it. If that's not the case, then damn that's some fast bug finding

Best news I've heard all day. I missed jailbreak within a few hours of having my phone, but at the very least I have LTE and a beautiful big screen.

This happens with every new release. It could still take weeks or months. Maybe we'll get lucky this time.

Good! I don't want to pay for tethering and now I can legally use another app for tethering on Verizon!

We still aren't going to get it soon. They will wait until Apple comes out with 6.0.1 in a couple months. Or maybe next month. It typically takes a month or two for 0.1 update.

If that's the case, it's most likely a tethered jailbreak. Given the in house design of the A6 SoC, I'd be surprised if we see an untethered jailbreak this year. Plus, the lightning port doesn't have a serial connection like the 30 pin did. I'm not sure how you would access the built in debugger. We may not see an untethered jailbreak for well over a year. Who knows, time will tell.
