So I have a 4s with AT&T and can upgrade as of today. I hear lots of story about scuffs and scratches of the 5, well my 4s is in a lifeproof case and I love it. My 4s looks immaculate so my questions is should I really sign a new contract again for the third year ? Bought a 4 in 10' and bought my 4s last oct, and I still have my 4 in awesome condition and ima keep my 4s. Just bcuz I refuse to sell them. But I really want the 5 regardless of what ppl say about. Comments? Suggestions and also I'm OCD about the case I put on it so I would need the new lifeproof case on it. So I would obviously hold out till it came out. Just wanted some suggeations

Although there is value in the iPhone, to me, holding onto it for so long makes it worthless(value-less? lol). plus there's no warranty?
i would rather sell it off, and let it pay for my next iPhone.
As for u, imo, if u want to hold onto them, then the 5 is too soon.
BUT if u intend to get it between now and the next iphone(5s?), then u should get it now cause the value of the ip5 wont change till the next keynote.

A few things ... First you bump your own thread especially after only 11 mins like your the only person on the forum with questions / concerns you run a risk of moderators suspending you.
I buy every iPhone as soon as they launch. I am very nit picky OCD of my iPhones as well. I had my 4S in the life proof case and LOVED it. Underwater video WOW!
Get the iPhone 5 and get Apple care plus and if anything happens you can get a replacement cheap. I am hoping the life proof case will come out soon for this thing as mine is currently without a case.

I do like the look of the naked iPhone but the life proof case lets you do some pretty cool things with the iPhone while protecting it.

okay, so i know this thread is from a few months back, i was just poking around some lifeproof stuff and well, i ended up here
, anyways, the lifeproof case came out and I got it and LOVE it. it is fantastic, i got my iPhone 5 two days ago, and went straight to Best Buy to get the Lifeproof. it is sleek and perfect, my finger has never touched the actual screen of the phone. I had the lifeproof for my iPhone 4 and loved it as well. For anyone possibly poking through the forums, or ending up stumbling here as i did and are questioning the thought of purchasing the lifeproof case. imo, i say do it! yea $80 is a little steep, but all those cheap cases will eventually add up.... and this case will last! i say go for it, ultimately its obviously up to you.. so yea, thats my 2 cents !
