Hi, I can't seem to find a straight answer about whether or not an unlocked iphone 5 from AT&T will recieve AT&T's LTE service from an MNVO like Straight Talk or Net10.

I've seen posts on various forum's saying things like "Of course no LTE, but HSPA+". However, from my understanding an unlocked Verizon iPhone is not compatible with AT&T's LTE, just HSPA+. So I'm not entirely sure that if I have an unlocked AT&T Iphone 5, can I get LTE from ST or NET10?

If you are getting HSPA+ with those carriers, are you getting decent speeds? I hear HSPA+ can do as well or better than LTE (at least in the case of tmobile).

I'd like to get an iPhone 5, I'll be upgrading from a 3gs, one of the main reasons though is data speed. I'm not a heavy user but I do tend to use data in rush moments, so if I can't achieve speeds better than what I get on my 3gs, that might hamper my decision to upgrade, even though processor-wise my 3gs is feeling very sluggish as well too :-\.

I probably won't settle for the 4s if I do upgrade, I'd rather get the fastest possible now and stretch it's life out for as long as possible.

I've never used an iPhone with Straight Talk but I have used two LTE Android phones and neither was able to get LTE. From my experience and everything I've read you can't get LTE with Straight Talk. Not sure about Net10 I've never used it.

Not lte i have on net 10 my iphone i can get 3 or 4mb

No you will not get LTE not even HSPA+ speeds. You will get 3G speed only even though your iPhone says 4G. I have been using straight talk for a long time on my iPhones and Internet speed is definitely not even at HSPA+ speeds.

IPHONE 5 ON STRAIGHT TALK.... no LTE only HSPA+

It looks like the carriers will not be allowing MVNOs or Prepaid services to access their LTE networks. You can only get HSPA+ max. Still not bad speeds though for the price.
