my iPhone 4 had no issues using siri or voice dictation when walking down the street or even in a sports bar (had to hold the bottom of the phone close to my mouth when it's really noisy)

with my iPhone 5, as soon as there's some background noise, it seems like it won't even try to attempt the voice recognition, or return a couple words completely unrelated.

I still have my iPhone 4 and walking down the street i can dictate a sentence and it comes back 100%, where the iphone 5 would not return anything (those three purple dots that show up while processing will just disappear)

so I'm just wondering if i have a defective unit, or if others are having this issue?
