I have IOS 7 but even before having the beta I have always ran into this problem, and wondered if there is a solution. Every now and again I go into my notes to get valuable info I store knowing my memory will forget it. After going into notes sadly the info is gone and I am assuming deleted. Anybody know why or how random notes are deleting? I still have some from 2012 so its not that they're auto-deleting from age.

Thanks,

Are you syncing your iPhone notes to a cloud account such as Gmail or iCloud. The safest way to know where your notes are is to save them locally on your phone. Check the default notes account on your iPhone by going to Settings > Notes > Default Account > On My iPhone
