iPhone 5 on silent -static

Okay so I've had my iPhone 5 since launch. I recently noticed that if I launch any app with sounds, most games anyway, the bottom speaker has a very light static sound to it. Like there is no sound for the game, just static. Could someone else check and see if they have the same issue? I seem to have a number of other issues as well, I am just curious if this is something all iPhone 5s have. Thanks
