iphone 5 on tmobile prepaid?

so tmobile is going to be selling nano sims soon. if i get the iphone unlocked, can i use it with tmobile prepaid? i know their data speed is edge but it doesnt really matter for me because almost everywhere i go have wifi. if i do tmobile, will the phone's functionalities work the same as they would on att or verizon? also, does ios6 affect if i can use tmobile?

Not it won't work the same. You won't have facetime and MMS. Might be missing a few things.

On tmobile you'll have mms, but you'll need to enter the settings which can be found on their forum. Only thing besides the slow data that I can think of is visual voicemail.
