Hi everyone, is it just me, or is it every time Apple announce a brand new iPhone, it seems as if your current iPhone decides that it's going to stop working and give up the ghost on you?

It sometimes feels like Apple secretly send out some code over the networks to all iPhones to scramble their software to stop them functioning properly, to make people give in to buying a new iPhone. Call me crazy, but I'm pretty sure this can't do it by itself out of nowhere.

Getting really tired of this crap now, I've had to call back at least 8 times now today alone because there appears to have been some fault develop in iOS 6 or a hardware fault in the antenna or something.

Anyone else having similar problems regarding incoming and outgoing calls, texts and web over edge or 3G?
