I just got my iPhone today, but I have noticed that the power/sleep feels a bit loose. Did you noticed that?

Mine feels dense.

I have to press somewhat hard down on the sleep button to get it going

Mine is loose to, white 16gb. If you lightly shake the phone you hear it rattle a little bit

That's the camera lens and its supposed to do that.

I thought this too at first, but it's BOTH the mechanical focus camera lens and the power button. If I put my finger on the power button the quieter of the two rattles goes away.

This is a VERY minor problem though, IMO, considering the camera rattle is much more noticeable.

You know I'm also a member of the OCD about having a perfect iPhone club. But I wonder why no other cell phone manufacturer has people complaining and moaning about every little perceived defect.

Because they are not Apple. People expect so much from Apple so every little defect comes to be noticed.

Noticed the same thing on mine. Thought it was the sleep/wake so I held it down and shook and still heard it.... Weird.

Mine also has both rattles. The lose sleep button causes one of them and i can differentiate them if I shake the phone which my finger on the button.
If I slightly hit the upper corner against my knuckle or something I can hear the camera rattle which makes a slight different sound. (More springy type)

After 5 iPhones with snug sleep buttons why they left this one lose!?
