2:44 AM - Called Apple 1800 number to place order
2:47 AM - Got through to CSR, and BS'ed for 13 minutes
3:00:00 AM - Started placing order, everything is smooth
3:01 AM - Selected color, memory size, data plan, about to give credit card

- Dropped Call Due to spotty AT&T service -

Yep that's right, the service from the company I'm buying from is so poor that I can't even buy products from them (adding a line).

3:02 AM Called back Apple 5+ times, each time it connects and plays the message "Sorry we are unable to take your call due to extremely high call volume".

3:04 AM Tried AT&T site for 13 minutes straight on every browser, kept freezing at the pre-order page on the popup that showed the terms and conditions and never responded to me clicking the continue button. Also tried Apple site continuously says "we'll be right back we're updating the site".

3:17 AM Apple Store App saves the day! 100% smooth pre-order.

Anyone else bounce around and have everything so completely messed up like this? Pre ordering seems to be really rough.
