Hi. I have an iPhone 5 which was jailbroken the day of the evasi0n release. Recently I have found I really don't need the jailbreak and wanted to get rid of it. I made a back up on iTunes and then hit the "Erase all content and settings" button in the phones settings. I had no idea that was a no-no. Now the device is stuck on the black screen with the spinning circle like when the phone dies. On top of all this, I have no way of using the lock button as that has slowly stopped working the past few weeks. Can I wait for it to die and then plug into iTunes and only hold down the home button to put into "dfu mode"? Please, please help.
