Evening guys,

let me talk you this through this one...

Rewind to September 21st 2012, and I get the iPhone 5. Fast forward to October 31st 2012 and I have to exchange the phone due to the lock button working intermittently.

Fast forward to now and I have the same problem with the lock button. I have an appointment on Wednesday at the apple store.

Now because I'm out of warranty by about a month and half/maybe two... what sort of options will I have? How reasonable are apples repair costs for this sort of thing?

What are the chances of them turning around and giving me a replacement for free? Long shot I know, anyone had experience getting a free replacement out of warranty?

Cheers chaps.

Your replacement should have a 90 day warranty so make an appointment and get it taken care of
