iphone 5 purchase question...

Hello, this may sound like a stupid question but I am not sure which apple id(mine or my wifes) I should purchase the new iphone 5 on at the apple store. My wife's iphone is available for an upgrade and I was thinking I should order it under my apple id, since both the lines are under my name through at&t. Does it matter at all? Thank you!:)
