iphone 5 recall and iOS 8 GM

Hey everyone

I have an appointment at Apple to get my iPhones battery replaced under the recall. Ive checked my serial and its under the program so thats fine. My question is I'm running the GM of iOS 8 and since its not officially out until later today and my appointment is at 1:00PM EST if they know I'm running the GM will they turn me away? I know its a hardware issue and not a software issue but Apple has always turned people away if they are running OS X or iOS betas and have issues.

Just downgrade it if you're worried. They're going to swap your phone anyway so you won't even have to take the time to restore your data.

I had one warranty return with my iPhone 5 and I wiped it before going to the store. I don't ever trust them to do that and my data is too precious for some tech to forget to erase it.

Last time I swapped out my iP5 the tech made me erase it before he'd take it
